Another Jeans to Skirt makeover

Today I want to show you another skirt I have sewn from an old Jeans:

I had an old Jeans similar to this one:

and I saw this one:

over at Pinterest.

So I cut of the waist from the jeans and sew it to the cotton I had bought. It was really easy. You don't need to have special knowledge in sewing.

I'm ready for summer!

Thank you for joining my little blog.

Jeans to long Skirt makeover

Since I stopped smoking 2.5 years ago, I have gained a little weight and therefore some of my jeans have unfortunately become too tight. I had a pair similar this one:

And then I saw this pin:

over at Pinterest and the idea was born.
I bought a little fabric and used it on a similar principle. And here you have my new skirt:

Can't hardly wait for summer.

Hope to see you soon.

Hall Stand makeover

This was one of the first impressions we got when we visited our house for the first time. The hall stand! It was big and very dark. The dark wood paneling did the rest. It was really ugly at first, but it didn't matter to me. I saw potential.

After painting the entrance area in white, we let some parts away, so the whole wardrobe acts not as bulky. The leftover parts I have brightened with self-adhesive film. Now the whole entrance is much more brighter.

Please feel welcome at my blog and at our home.

Cookie Love Tote

What I want to show you today, I have completed a few weeks ago. However, I would not hide from you. I made a tote for my dear colleague.

She is a very dear colleague - as long as there are cookies!!! But, if the cookies are empty ... ;-)

"The cookies were empty, so I've gone crazy!"

Thank you for stopping by.

Slouchy Beanie

As you might remember, I had a visit from a friend some time ago. Her son got the Joshi. The girlfriend asked me if I can crochet her one of those trendy hats.

Because I had already been practicing this for Christmas, we have looked through my wool stash and picked out colors. She decided to have a black one with blue and green stripes.

Here is the finished hat.

Thank you for dropping in.
