Coco the sock monkey
In my last post I told you that I'm working on 2 projects. One is finished now. So today I want to introduce Coco to you. Coco is a sock monkey. I crochet him for my little nephew. I hope he'll like him.
The next few days I've planned to crochet another sock monkey for my little niece. Because it's never a good idea to have only one present for two child ;-) I will keep you up to date.

Candle Holder
I saw these cuties over at Pinterest (Sorry, I can't tell who created them because the requested URL is invalid) and I thought they would be nice for Mr. Heart's birthday party. Of course not in pink!

So I went to the supermarket and bought a package of yogurt for kids. Then I went to the DIY store to buy a small pack of quick-setting cement. After I have eaten the yoghurts I mixed the cement and filled the empty cups. I placed a stub of candle in the middle until the cement dried.
Then I removed the candle stubs, cut the edges smooth and painted the candle holders. And here are my version of these candle holders.

Windowsill refashion
Hello Everybody out there,
hope y'all had a nice weekend. We had a very nice weekend because it was Mr. Hearts Birthday and there were a lot of family and friends around here. The week before was very busy with changing the floor at the Entry Hall and a lot of other little things to present a nice and cozy home for the birthday. Here's one of the little things I've done. After we changed the kitchen floor, I don't like the color of the windowsill in combination with the new floor. It looks like marble but it was only a laminated wood panel.
So I said to myself: This is one thing I can do even better. I bought two rolls of adhensive foil (yes, again!) and went to work. After one hour the windowsill have the similar look like the floor.
Now I like the look of our kitchen and I think this was the last thing to change for the next few years.
I'm pleased to welcome you here again soon.
